Introduction Le
Moulin Gites offers self catering accommodation in two cottages, set in very quiet and secluded surroundings ,
yet only ten minutes from the large market town of St Hilaire du Harcouet and only 35 minutes from the coast and beaches.
The D-day beaches and battlefields are only 1 hour away. It is a haven for nature lovers and is ideal
for walking and cycling. Both properties now have wi-fi broadband and either satelite or cable tv.
Situation Situated
in the area of Manche, on the Normandy/Brittany border, makes this an ideal base for touring both regions. Manche forms
the western coastline of Normandy with the Cherbourg peninsula to the north down to the bay of Mont St Michel in
the south ( only 25 mins away).

Set in 5 acres of meadows, orchards and gardens with the river Lair running through the grounds, it is the
perfect environment for relaxing outdoors with a glass of wine listening to the peace and quiet of rural life. Le moulin dates
back to 1742 and was a working watermill up to around the 1950's. It is accessed by a lane which only leads to the two
properties and thus offers a very secluded setting.
